Late Summer/Fall CSA signups

With all this rain we have been receiving here in Tennessee the crops are growing wonderfully and all looks good as we head into our summer season here on the farm. The heirloom tomatoes have grown 2 feet in the last week and the beans are blooming now. Squash, Cucumbers and snap green beans as well as flowers will be making their way to our shareholders basket this month. We are going to start pulling out the spring crops to make way for the late summer and fall crops over the next couple of weeks. To get a head count on our fall shareholders and prepare for the coming season we need to open the program up for signups. If you are currently a shareholder of the spring and summer program and would like to keep going through the fall you can simply pay a $50.00 deposit to reserve your spot anytime between now and June 24th. After June 24th the remaining shares will be giving out first come first serve bases. I will post the open spots here on the website for new shareholders to reserve at that time…so check the website and Facebook on or around the June 24th. for those remaining spots you can pay on-line your deposit to reserve your share in the fall program.

As for our spring and summer shareholders your next pickup dates will Saturday June 14th. 9-1pm  & Tuesday June 16th. 4-6pm.  If you would like the Tuesday pickup date please let me know…remember we only harvest baskets for those shareholders that we know are coming. you can email me or message me via Facebook.

We will have the farm open to the public June 14th. 9am-1pm  We are in the beginning of our summer crop season which means we don’t have a lot of extra produce after our CSA. But we would love to have ya visit.

Next big market day June 28th.

We had a beautiful farm wedding here this last weekend. And I have to say it always brings such a smile to mine and Mark’s face to see these couples starting their new lives together here on the farm. photo 4
