CSA Spring kick off

Hello from the farm,

If you are like me you have been wondering when this weather was going to finally settle into a spring like season. Well it looks like maybe this week we may get to make some real progress on these crops. Tomatoes and pepper, green beans and squash all need to be planted. We are running about 3-4 weeks behind with such a cold and rain March and April…but that looks like it all is about to change.

CSA: This will be the first year in a very long time that we haven’t started our CSA pickups the last weekend in April. It looks like our 1st. pickup will be the second weekend of May. Which puts us on top of a couple of weddings here on the farm. We are going to go ahead a schedule our CSA gathering and 1st pickup for Sunday May 13th. so we don’t run into Saturday wedding..If you are a new shareholder to our program the gathering is very important. We will tell you all the ins & outs about the program so you feel comfortable with how it all works. We normally pickup on Saturday mornings but..well, our timing is off this year. If you can’t make the Sunday gathering..just let me know and I will get you set up with another pickup day. 1932595_10204252260894632_4243265097372998940_o

Please keep your eye on the farm’s facebook page in case there are any changes.
