I have been debating about scheduling our first pickup of the season this weekend. There just isn’t a whole lot ready to harvest this early in the season..but than again..we do have some beautiful tender butter lettuces just getting ready and some spring radishes, savory spinach and collard greens and a few fresh herbs. That is about the sum of what is ready to go off the farm this weekend. It’s not a great haul but it is just the beginning of a long, beautiful season coming up, so we are on for our first pickup. Saturday, May 4th. 10:30-1:30pm
Coming to the farm: keep a watch out for the chickens, and farm pups…Echo and Iris they are free rangers and like to get in the way of farm traffic. Our pickup will be held in the farmhouse..If you are new to our CSA program please come in the morning so we can go over the program with you and get you started. We are in the middle of some field repairs and re-structuring so we won’t be doing a field tour this pickup. We are so excited about all the new things happening with the farm for the fall season!! New growing tunnels, more production beds..so exciting!
CSA gathering and 1st. pickup 10:30-1:30pm.
Please keep an eye out for farm updates as week go though the spring season..we have most of our pickups weekly while these cool season vegetables are coming in. Once summer is here we will move to bi-weekly pickups.
2nd. CSA pickup Saturday, May 11th. 10:30-2pm.
If you have any questions, Please let me know.
