The flowers are blooming and the farm is calling

Hello from the farm,

Oh gosh it has turned into straight up summer time around here the last few weeks. I am right now keeping my fingers crossed for rain in the next day or so. We haven’t had rain on the farm in 14 days. That is a long stretch for the late spring months. We have been busy planting some late summer crops and flowers this week as well as getting ready to put up our new tunnel greenhouses. I am so excited about getting those up and planted for the fall and early winter. These houses are covered in clear greenhouse plastic and keeps the heat in during the colder month allowing us to grow longer and harvest sooner in the spring time.

It is amazing to see the farm once again starting to bloom with color from the flowers and as much as I hoped to take a little break allowing our CSA shareholders to catch their breath from under all these spring crops we really need to bring you back for a early pickup this weekend and for those can’t make the weekend pickup dates…early next week. The heat is sending these crops into overdrive. I have set several pickup days and time options for you to help accommodate your busy schedules. Just email me which works best for you to pickup. I mentioned the flower were blooming and they are so i will have your flower cutters and harvest cans ready for you to cut yourselves some gorgeous fresh bouquets. Here are the pickup days to choice from:

Saturday June 8th. 10:30-2pm  Plz email me for this pickup date.

Sunday June 9th. 10:30-2pm.   Plz email me for this pickup date.

Tuesday June 11th. 4-6pm        Plz email me for this pickup date.

Thursday June 13th. 4-6pm      Plz email me for this pickup date.

Saturday June 15th. 10:30-2pm   for those that didn’t pickup early. (Note: I can’t promise your baskets will be the same as the earlier pickup dates with the heat the long we wait the less we will have to harvest for the pickups.)

Next pickup Saturday June 22nd.   We have a wedding on the farm this day so our pickups will end at 1pm.
